Overview

If you’ve purchased a domain name (such as yourbusiness.com) from a registrar like GoDaddy, Google Domains, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Hover, etc., you’ll need to point it to RENTALL’s hosting servers so that visitors can reach your website.

Customers should use the following IP address when setting up DNS records for their RENTALL-hosted website:

  • IP Address: 68.66.224.4

Step 1: Locate Your DNS Settings

Log in to the account where your domain is registered. Look for the section labeled DNS Settings, Zone Editor, or Manage DNS. This is where you can edit your domain’s DNS records.

Step 2: Update the A Record

Find or create an A record for your domain. This record connects your domain name to the hosting IP.

  • Host / Name: @

  • Type: A

  • Value / Points to: 68.66.224.4

  • TTL: Leave as default (usually 3600 seconds or “1 hour”)

If you have a “www” record, update or add it as follows:

  • Host / Name: www

  • Type: A

  • Value / Points to: 68.66.224.4

Step 3: Save and Wait for DNS to Update

Once saved, changes usually take effect within a few minutes to a few hours, but it can take up to 24 hours for global propagation.

Step 4: Verify Your Setup

You can check if your domain is pointing correctly by using a DNS checker (like dnschecker.org) and searching your domain name for the A record. It should show 68.66.224.4.
