How can I save a customer inquiry?

The RENTALL Dashboard includes an Inquiry section where you can record the details of a potential customer's request, prior to making a reservation. You can maintain a record of their interest and follow up with them later. This article will guide you through the process of adding a customer inquiry.

  1. Click on Dashboard from the sidebar. Note that if the sidebar is closed you can click on the RENTALL icon at the top-left to open the sidebar.

  2. Click the Inquiries button on the top-right section of the Dashboard page.

  3. Pictured below is an example of the Inquiries section.

  4. To create a new inquiry, simply click on the New Inquiry button near the top-right of the page.

  5. The Add New Inquiry window, pictured below, will pop up.

  6. If the inquiry is from an existing customer in RENTALL, click on the Find Customer field.

  7. You can search for a customer using their First Name, Last Name or Phone No.

  8. To select a customer from your search results, click Select in the left column.

  9. The customer’s information will be populated in the form. Fields marked with an asterisk are required. When the form is complete, click Save.
