RENTALL’s Dashboard includes a handy To Do feature that allows you to assign tasks to your employees and keep track of their completion. This article will guide you through the basics of using the Dashboard.
The Dashboard displays an overview of your business including Reservations, Returns, vehicles On-Rent, Pending Payments and much more. The image below is an example of the Dashboard:
Scroll down to view the To Do section, pictured below:
To add a task to your To Do list, click See All at the top-right of the To Do section.
You can filter tasks by time frame using the Start Date and End Date fields. Tasks can also be filtered by Locations.
To add a task, click Add To Do on the top-right corner of the To Do section.
Clicking the Add To Do button will open a new window for entering a to do task.
This includes the task’s Name and Date. You can also assign the task to an employee by selecting them from the Assignee list. The status of the task can be set to New, In-Progress or Resolved.
Task Priority can be set to Low, Medium or High.
For this example, I’ll also add text to the Note field before continuing.
A task may also be assigned to a vehicle using the Assign Vehicle option.
The Assign Vehicle section allows you to search for a vehicle using the Vehicle No, License No, Model or Vehicle Make and Model.
After locating the appropriate vehicle, select it by clicking on Select.
When you’re ready to create your first task, click the Save button.
Congratulations, you have created your first task and successfully used the To Do feature.
