How do I view or add customer traffic tickets?

RENTALL gives you the ability to view and document traffic tickets associated with customers. This article will walk you through the process of recording a traffic violation that occurred during a rental agreement, as well as how to access a customer's history of logged traffic tickets.

View Traffic Tickets

  1. To view all of a customer’s traffic tickets, open Customers section by clicking the Customers button on the side bar. Note that if the sidebar is closed you may click on the RENTALL icon at the top-left to open the sidebar.

  2. You can search for customers quickly by license number, name, or phone number.

    More search fields can be accessed by clicking on Filter:

  3. After searching, click on the customer’s name.

  4. Click on Edit at the top of the page.

  5. To find all your customers’ traffic tickets, scroll to the Summary section and click on the number next to Total Traffic Tickets.

  6. This will display all of their traffic tickets.

    You can edit an existing ticket by clicking on the ellipsis under Actions and selecting Edit Traffic Tickets.

Add Traffic Tickets

  1. To record a new ticket, you must start by adding the ticket to the applicable rental agreement on the agreement’s summary page, as shown in the example below:

  2. Click Traffic from the ribbon menu.

  3. To create a new traffic ticket, click Add Tickets on the top-right corner of the section.

  4. Enter the ticket details in the Add Traffic Ticket dialog box then click Save.
