How do I set customer Payment Terms?

RENTALL enables you to set customized payment terms for each customer, allowing you to define how long they have to settle their balance before the payment is considered overdue.

The following payment terms are available in RENTALL:

RENTALL’s payment terms are outlined below for your reference:

  • Immediate: The customer is expected to pay their due balance at the immediate end of the rental agreement.

  • Net 15: The customer is given 15 days to pay their due balance, before the agreement becomes overdue.

  • Net 30: The customer is given 30 days to pay their due balance, before the agreement becomes overdue.

  • Net 45: The customer is given 45 days to pay their due balance, before the agreement becomes overdue.

Follow the steps below to set a customer’s payment terms:

  1. Click on Customers from the side bar. Note that if the sidebar is closed you can click on the RENTALL icon at the top-left to open the sidebar.

  2. You can search for customers quickly by license number, name, or phone number.

    More search fields can be accessed by clicking on Filter:

  3. After searching, click on the customer's name.

  4. Click on Edit at the top of the page to begin making changes.

  5. From the Update Customer page, scroll down to the Financial Settings section and select the appropriate Payment Term.

  6. Click Save on the top-right corner of the page.
